About Max
Max is committed to making our city a better place for all its residents. He comes from a family with deep roots in the city and a history of philanthropy and community service. With over 15 years of experience running the Tuttleman Foundation, Max has invested in Philadelphia, with a mission to give back to the community through various programs and initiatives.
Max believes that the key to creating a safer, cleaner, and more equitable Philadelphia is through economic growth. He has a clear vision and plan to achieve this growth by attracting new businesses and supporting those that are already here, securing grants, and providing better services for the community. He understands that only by optimizing taxation and creating more equitable access to capital, especially among communities of color, can we fund the tax base and create wealth for all.
Max is also active in the community, serving on the boards of various organizations such as Treehouse Books, Neighborhood Bike Works, Mural Arts, and RAIR.
Max is different from other candidates because he has spent his entire post-school life committed to serving and giving back to the community. He realized that in order to make a real impact, he needs to be involved in the policy decision-making level.
Max’s goal is to win by connecting with the people and hearing their concerns. He believes that if you can connect with the people, you have already won.

Max believes that the city must create the conditions for all of its residents to have a safe and enriching neighborhood. This includes addressing gun violence in a human-centered manner and providing equitable municipal services, like trash collection, to its residents. He will work to ensure that all Phildelphians feel respected and honored in their city.

Max understands that a thriving local economy is essential for the well-being of all residents. He will work to create an environment that attracts and retains businesses and jobs, and invests in workforce development opportunities that create family sustaining wages and benefits for all Philadelphians.

Max knows that education is a key component to a bright future for our city. He will work to ensure that all students have access to high quality education and that the city invests in its schools and teachers to support student success.
